Meadow Cottage

Meadow Cottage is a 4 bedroom house, with 4 bathrooms (3 en-suite) and a WC, sleeping up to 8 adults.

 

This house has a more traditional layout, with the kitchen-diner found on the ground floor. This room is filled with natural light, and the bi-folding doors and floor-to-ceiling windows, make for a truly unique dining experience. The doors then lead out onto a patio and then the garden, which has outdoor seating, a BBQ and a firepit.

The cosy sitting room is found to the left of the entrance and has a charming fireplace as well as a TV, perfect for evening gatherings. The ground floor also has a communal WC and a Twin Room en-suite shower room, at the end of the corridor. The other Twin en-suite shower room is located upstairs and is next to the Double room which has its own private shower room outside the bedroom.  All the Twin beds can be made into King beds on request.

The King Room with En-suite Bathroom is also upstairs and boasts 360-degree views of the river. This room boasts bi-folding glass doors that lead out on a balcony, framing the picturesque surroundings beautifully. From sunrises, nature watching, sunsets, and stargazing, the unobstructed views are a delight!

Downstairs includes a bathroom with bath, over bath shower, WC and shaver point and Bedroom 1 which as a large double bed. On the first floor is Bedroom 2 with twin single beds into eaves and Bedroom 3 with twin single beds into eaves, as well as a shower room with shower cubicle, basin & WC. On the landing is a storage cupboard with hanging rails, hoover, iron, ironing board, and airer.
Outside the cottage is an enclosed shingled sitting area. In addition, there is a secluded grassed BBQ garden with picnic tables. Ample off road parking. Your stay includes Bed linen, electricity, gas central heating and WiFi. 
If you need a travel cot (please bring own bedding/linen) high chair and stair gate please select this option when booking. Towels are included unless you opt out to receive a discount on booking. Please bring own beach towels. Bicycle and equipment storage can be provided, please request this on booking.

All guests of Meadow Cottage and The Old Mill have exclusive access to this social space opposite the houses. It offers a lovely space to play or relax with your friends and is both a games room, with a snooker and table-football table, as well as a cinema room, with a large projector screen and comfortable bean bag seating. All you will need to enjoy wonderful movie nights is a Movie/TV streaming account i.e Netflix, Amazon Prime or Apple TV, and to grab some popcorn.
